Follow in the footsteps of famous explorers at the Husavik exploration museum Iceland

The Exploration Museum is a small museum dedicated to the history of human exploration in the center of Húsavík in North Iceland, about 50 kilometers (30 miles) from the Arctic Circle. It was founded in 2011 by entrepreneur and hotelier Örlygur Hnefill Örlygsson and formally opened in 2014 by the President of Iceland.
